Our Little Man

Today I was watching my baby boy play, and I got teary eyed. Nothing makes me happier than to hear my baby laugh, or see him playing, and learning and growing. But today it hit me, that I do not have a baby anymore. My baby has turned into a little man. These pictures were taken of him crawling on diapers, wipes, and his car seat. He just recently learned to climb up things, and it is so fun to watch, but there are a ton of bruises everyday! If you look close, you can see a difference with his hair. I know it is hard since his hair is so blond, but, he did get his first hair cut the other day. He did so well, no crying! He was very wiggly, but that's no different than any other day. I was looking at the pictures on the camera, and Lucas just kept laughing at me or the camera. He was laughing so hard, but, of course, as soon as I start to record it, he slows down the laughing.

Lucas can now wave 'bu-bye', give kisses, and point. He is walking with everything, he will take a wagon or his "toy table" and walk all over the place. He has learned to say "mama" and "dada", though he is definitely going through a "dada" phase. Everything is "dada"- dad, mom, food, outside, everything. It is so fun to watch him learn and grow.
