VICTORY!

I haven't done a post in a little while, so I thought I would tell a little bit about what we have been doing. A while ago, we went on a date with some of our friends, Heidi and Weston. My niece, Kylee, babysat Lucas for us, and we went to dinner. And then we came home, put Lucas to bed, and then Heidi and Weston brought their WII over. We had so much fun, its not that often that we get to go out without Lucas, so it was fun. Matt and I boxed against each other. Let me just say this, I killed him! I don't win games against him very often, actually it is pretty rare. So, yes, I am bragging! But to be fair, we also bowled, and Matt almost got a strike every time. He beat everyone in bowling. But, I want to continue bragging about winning! I know some wouldn't believe it, so I posted a video, its a couple minutes long, and it doesn't actually show me winning, but it gets the job done. It is my proof that I won. :)

As far as Lucas goes, he is into everything, of course, like toddlers are. He can say "gapapa" (Grandpa), "Hi", "byebye", "Baby", "mom", "dad", "woof", (this one I am not sure, sometimes it sounds like it, other times it doesn't) "cracker", "Thank you" (but that's very rare), "bease" (Please; and again, its rare). Lucas can sign, more, thank you, please, he can give kisses, blow kisses, and he can give fives. One of his favorite things to do is play games with us by making noises with his mouth. He will make weird noises, and expect us to do the same, once we do, he laughs and laughs and does it again, and again, and again, and again...you get the idea. Lucas loves to dance. I turn music on while I am cleaning, and he runs to one room, and dances, then runs to another room, and does the same thing, again, and again, and again....:) Matt still doesn't know what he thinks of his little boy dancing, but I love it. Here is a video of his other favorite game that he LOVES when daddy plays it. He could spend all day playing on our bed with Dad. It wears Matt out. Ignore the unmade bed; when your little kid just pulls blankets off, it feels pretty pointless to make it. And he have to push blankets out of the way for this game.

The faces that Matt and Lucas are making when you pushed stop on the video are my favorite part!
