July in a nut shell

Since we have been doing so much fun stuff and I still don't know how to manage my time with 2 kids, I am doing a post of July in a nutshell.
First of, thank you to every one who sent me recipes, and gave me recipe blogs, or called to check on me, I REALLY appreciate it!! I am SO excited for the recipes!!
So, we spent July 4th with my family, it was really long but totally fun! I LOVE fireworks and parades! Lukes favorite part was riding on the wagon with my dad pulling with his wheelchair. Who says cripples are no fun?! :) Well, it was his favorite part until he stood up and fell on the asphalt and got the biggest goose-egg yet.

My favorite part: my sister trying to hide the snack tray from the kids, put the plastic tray in the oven. My mom not knowing, turned on the oven. The house smelled terrible, and a bunch of us had to try to scrape it off. It was very funny!

For FHE one night, we talked about the Title of Liberty, and helped Luke make his own. He told us what to draw and we did it, it turned out quite cute. If you look closely, you can see Mom, Dad, Lila, Lucas, Elmo, two of our neighbors Briggs and Owen, water, earth (no not the planet earth, but the beginning of universal pictures movies, when they show the earth - that is Luke's favorite part of any movie. Weird I know), there is the Book of Mormon and also a dagger on there, I don't know where that came from though.

When you have a two year old, you often find things like this. Notice the one shoe.

I found this by the dumpster, it is pretty scratched up, so I am going to do some touch up paint to it. Lucas loves it!! I will put up pictures after I fix it up too.

We also had Lila's blessing, but I am going to do a separate post for that. :)
